Let’s begin with a definition of the name of this blog, Burstology. It’s in my Dictionary of Words That Should Exist. Always feel free to create words.
Burstology n. — The science of bursting out of the commonplace and into the exceptional, especially when accompanied by a feeling of strong or irrepressible emotion or impulse.
I’m Elizabeth Tessier a former ACE-certified exercise instructor who was trained as a yoga instructor by YogaFit. I spent 12 years volunteer coaching for everything from 3K to half-marathon races.
As a reporter for United Press International, I used to write about national and international news, including sports figures in professional boxing, running, baseball, basketball and tennis. Now I am privileged to write exclusively for you, the readers of Burstology.
This website, burstology.com <https://burstology.com>, came about because information on some of the top health and fitness concerns of consumers needs to be more accessible, complete and collected in one place. Besides, I enjoy writing, and including my own comments is a luxury I previously had only in opinion columns.
I’m glad you’re here and hope you’ll find my blogs useful in your own path toward health and fitness.
Subscribe to Burstology so I can ping you whenever a new one is published. Your email will remain safe with me. In a recognition of your commitment to health and fitness, I’ll send you a self test to measure your fitness level. It will provide a baseline you may return to over and over, to measure your improvement over time.
Talk to me. To comment on a blog, please join in the comment section at the end of it, so other readers may benefit from your contributions. I’ll do my best to join in. Otherwise, connect with me via my contact page.
